Company Profile

Incorporated in 1946, Delaware Brick Company began as a manufacturing plant in New Castle, DE. Founded by John G. Schauber, son of the original owner of the Chestertown Brick Co, Delaware Brick Company is still owned by the Schauber family. Delaware Brick manufactures their own brick and distributed brick from other manufactures primarily from North and South Carolina, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

The Challenge

This customer had a very unique sales process. Beginning the process with presenting brick samples to an Architect presenting their ideas for a new building project, then finally selling the chosen brick as a bulk order to a Contracting company for use in the building. This process typically takes 2 years.

The Solution

App Solve was able to build this out by basing the customer’s entire system around projects – since those are the center of their business.

The Results

The customer is now able to relate each contact member appropriately to a project, from the Architect, the Building Owner, to the contractor and report on where to focus their time by examining where the business is being generated.
